Dear Debbie

Having just returned from CanDance at Deerhurst in Huntsville 2005/2006, I wanted to express my thanks and compliments for organizing the best competition ever. When parents, dancers, and teachers all confer that it genuinely was a great experience, you know you've got the right formula.

The venue at Deerhurst lends itself to tranquility but you have gone out of your way to provide an excellent stage, ample staff always available for help, and an organized sensible schedule. The judges were respected teachers and studio owners with years of experience. The comments and special awards were well spoken and meaningful. The addition of " titled solo pageant" and especially the "Dance Off" were exiting bonuses that really contribute to the uniqueness of CanDance.

Finally, Debbie, it is your calm, kind, professional manner that ensures that your competition is special. I wish you much success for the rest of the season. Thank you for putting it all together. All had a great time!

It is with great excitement that we invite you and your dancers to participate in the CanDance Convention and Performing Arts Competition. This season we will produce Twenty Two events across the U.S. and Canada, concluding with our national championships in Boston, July 2 - 6.

Not only are we dedicated to “doing competition the right way,” we are also focused on making CanDance Convention and Performing Arts Competition your favorite event. Our focus is on professional organization, quality sound systems, experienced adjudicators, fabulous classes, professional faculty and creating an event that will inspire the thousands of dancers and teachers we see each year.

This season we are thrilled to welcome Rhee Gold to our staff both as a consultant and a celebrity host for our U.S. events. Gold is one of the most respected personalities in the field of dance; we welcome his wealth of experience, passion and dedication to dance teaching field.
